The Infopoker Cup 2008 will be held at World3dpoker between February 25th and May 15th. All players are welcome to play at Infopoker Cup 2008 but only players signed through our links or with bonus code: infopokerW3D can play in Sections 1 and 2. If you don't have account with us you can play only in Section 3, The Buyin League.

This years the event will have 3 qualifying sections:
Section 1: Rake Back Race
Section 2: Freeroll
Section 3: Buyin
Final - Between May 5th - May 15th . The qualified members will vote the date and time of the final tournament.

So... what you need to do to play in section 1 ? Nothing hard .. only you need to play cash games, buyin tournaments. You will receive 1 league point for every 3$ rake that you leave at tables or fees in the buyin tournaments.
At the end of each week top 3 players will receive:
1st place: 40% Rake Back
2nd place: 30% Rake Back
3rd place: 20% Rake Back
Exactly like the W3D advertise... Play more, win more ! Let's say if after the 1st week you will finish on 1st place and you made $1,000 rake, you will receive $400 directly in your account ...sounds good ? And everyone will have the chance to make some money because after each week we will start from begining. You will have 9 weeks to make money and be a legend at W3D.
And if you not finish in top 3 is not a big problem because anyone who plays will receive points. For every $3 rake you will receive 1 league point.
Top 15 Players from Section 1: Rake Back Race will qualify in the final. To qualify you need to finish in top 15 players after all 9 weeks and to have at least 20 league points.
Top 3 players after all 9 competition weeks will also win some aditional prizes:
1st place: $300
2nd place: $200
3rd place: $100

Freeroll
Can play in this section only players signed through our links. If you are not sure if you have account through us, please check World3dpoker lobby, if you see the Infopoker CUP Freeroll tournaments listed you have account through our links. If you don't see the Infopoker freerolls you don't have account through our links and you can play only in the Buyin Section.

Top 2 from each tournament will receive a $6 value buyin ticket for the Buyin tournament. Top 25 players from each freeroll tournament will receive points. After all tournaments top 5 players will qualify in the final. Also they will receive some aditional cash prizes:

Top 10 players at the end of all tournaments will qualify in the final.

BUYIN SECTION LEAGUE RULES
The Buyin Setion takes a unique approach to scoring which we believe is much better suited to the nature of the internet than traditional league formats.
It takes into account the fact that sometimes people won't be available to play and that new players may want to join, old players may want to leave and some people might want to have a couple of weeks off. It is an open, dynamic index of player's performances.
Additionally whoever finishes first in a game gets a five point bonus. This really helps competition at the top between the very best players, rewarding a tournament win.
THE FINAL TOURNAMENT
The final tournament will be held between May 5th - May 15th . The qualified members will vote the date and time of the final tournament. Will be a $500 Freeroll tournament and will play: 15 players from Rake back section, 5 players from Freeroll section and 10 players from the buyin section. 30 players will play in this final event.
